Translation is more than isolated words:

it’s the message you share with international markets

And conveying that message accurately in English is a responsibility every company committed to quality should assume.

Translation is not about going word by word; it’s about carrying meaning from one concept to another.

And when those concepts, especially technical ones, are conveyed correctly, the result is a message that remains clear, precise, and credible. Three qualities directly associated with a company’s image.

We often underestimate how closely language is tied to the perception clients form of a company. And, actually, just as visual identity shapes positioning, so do words.

From highly technical materials to corporate and commercial content, the way texts are written reflects the level of care a company puts into its brand and its clients.

The goal of translation should be to connect, to maintain a dialogue, and to be understood on the same terms, even when language becomes a barrier. It should never be careless or done merely so that “it can be understood.”

Because I believe that high-quality communication builds lasting relationships and trust, I created a service that combines specialization and care so that the quality and dedication behind every agribusiness and food company are also reflected in their international communication.

The translator behind your international communication strategy

I’m Sofía Galli, a professional translator specialized in agribusiness.

My specialization focuses primarily on meat and dairy, although I’ve worked across a wide range of areas, from precision agriculture to fisheries.

I studied translation at the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and graduated in 2014 as a sworn and technical translator.

From there, I joined the Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (the National Service for Agrifood Health and Quality), Argentina’s veterinary authority, where I developed this specialization working with texts related to animal health and welfare, as well as food safety and quality.

In my final year at SENASA, I became the Head of the Translation Department. One of the most significant projects I was responsible for was coordinating the translation of all documentation related to the reopening of the U.S. market for Argentine beef exports (a major team achievement!)

I would never have imagined working in the agro-industrial sector if it hadn’t been for my time at SENASA. That experience showed me the importance of serving as a linguistic bridge for producers and motivated me to continue my career in the private sector, supporting them in their export journey.

Since 2019, I’ve worked with agribusinesses and food companies exporting to international markets where Spanish is the commercial language. We work together on translating their corporate communications and the documentation that supports the quality, safety, and traceability of their food products.

I continuously deepen my specialization so that agribusinesses and food companies can rely on a single service for all the documentation they need to present to international markets, ensuring they stand out and demonstrate the reliability of their company, their products, and their processes.

THE METHOD BEHIND AN AGRI-TRANSLATION

An agri-translation is a specialized form of translation designed for agribusinesses and food companies that manufacture food products for export and need to communicate their identity, processes, and systems to demonstrate the quality of their production and their company culture.

This translation goes beyond purely technical content. It includes all materials that reflect how a company operates and what it stands for.

Because I understand the importance of this task and the need to place it in trusted hands, I want to share the pillars that support my service, which purpose is to give you confidence at every stage and deliver effective results in your international communication.
